Privacy Policy

The short version

Fixtra (“Fixtra,” “we,” “us”) is a tool that helps athletes discover college soccer programs that fit them. Fixtra is operated by the Fixtra team. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why, where it lives, and the choices you have.

The honest summary:

  • You can explore Fixtra without an account. Most of what you do — your answers, saved schools, and recruiting profile — is stored on your own device until you choose to sign in.
  • We collect anonymous usage analytics to learn what to build next. These never include your name, email, phone number, or anything you write.
  • If you sign in, we store your data in our database so it follows you across devices. Only you can read it.
  • We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
This is a good-faith, plain-language policy — not legal advice. Because some Fixtra users may be minors, we encourage parents and guardians to read it too.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you build a recruiting profile or fill in onboarding answers, you may provide things like your name, graduation year, playing positions, club or school team, stats, GPA, test scores, a highlight-video link, a short bio, and contact details (email and phone). You provide this to power your own recruiting — for example, to auto-fill a draft email to a coach. If you create an account, you provide an email address and a password you choose.

Information stored on your device. As you use Fixtra, your onboarding answers, saved schools, and recruiting profile are saved in your browser’s local storage so the app remembers them between visits. This stays on your device unless you sign in (see below). You can clear it any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Anonymous usage analytics. To understand how Fixtra is used, we record product events such as screens viewed, schools saved or passed, and features tapped. These events carry only two rotating, anonymous identifiers — one for the device and one for the current visit — plus non-identifying details like a division level, a match score, or a count. They are deliberately designed to never include your name, email, phone number, the contents of a coach email, or any free text you write. We re-check this on our server and store nothing else.

How we use your information

  • To run the core experience — show you matching schools, keep your saved list and recruiting profile, and personalize your coach-email drafts.
  • To remember you across devices if you choose to sign in.
  • To authenticate your account and, if you ask, to send a password-reset link.
  • To process your Premium subscription if you choose to subscribe.
  • To understand, in aggregate, how Fixtra is used so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, show you ads, or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.

Coach emails

Fixtra can draft an outreach email to a coach using the verified contact information we publish and the recruiting details you entered. That draft is assembled on your device. Today, you copy the draft and send it yourself from your own email — Fixtra does not send the message for you, and we do not store the draft text or who you contacted. If we add send-from-Fixtra in the future, we will update this policy first.

Where your data lives and who can see it

If you sign in, your account data — your sign-in email, onboarding answers, recruiting profile, saved schools, and Premium status — is stored in our database, hosted by Supabase. Every table is protected by row-level security scoped to your account, so the database itself refuses to return one user’s data to anyone else. The anonymous analytics described above are write-only: even with a valid account, the app cannot read another visitor’s activity back.

The app itself is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (such as IP address and request information) may be processed by our hosting and database providers to operate and secure the service.

Cookies and local storage

  • When you sign in, we set a session cookie so you stay signed in. It is essential to the sign-in feature.
  • We use your browser's local storage to remember your in-app state (onboarding answers, saved schools, recruiting profile) and the anonymous analytics identifiers described above.
  • We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run Fixtra:

  • Supabase — database, account authentication, and password-reset emails.
  • Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
  • Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions. When you subscribe, Stripe handles your card details directly; we receive your subscription status but not your full card number.

These providers process data on our behalf to operate the service. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics vendors.

Keeping and deleting your data

Data stored on your device stays until you clear your browser data. If you have an account, your stored data remains until you ask us to delete it or delete your account. To request deletion, contact us at support@fixtra.pro; when an account is deleted, the data tied to it is removed. Anonymous analytics events are not linked to your account and cannot be traced back to you.

Children and minors

Fixtra is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you may use Fixtra only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian, and we ask that a parent or guardian review this policy and our Terms with you.

Fixtra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, contact us at support@fixtra.pro and we will delete it.

Your choices

  • Use Fixtra anonymously — you don't need an account to explore.
  • Edit or clear your recruiting profile and saved schools at any time inside the app.
  • Clear all on-device data by clearing your browser's site data for Fixtra.
  • Sign out to return to anonymous, local-only mode.
  • Request access to, or deletion of, your account data by emailing support@fixtra.pro.

How we protect your information

We take reasonable, layered measures to protect your data — encrypted connections, per-user database access controls, and least-privilege access for the app. No method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit what we collect in the first place.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Fixtra evolves. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date above, and for significant changes we’ll make a reasonable effort to highlight them in the app.
